Role overview

The Growth Strategist diagnoses what is actually blocking scale, then designs the system that removes it. The role covers positioning, channel architecture, and the measurement that proves any of it worked.

About the role

You work with founders and marketing leads to build go-to-market strategy, define the ideal customer, sequence channels, and set the performance framework. The work is analytical first and creative second, but it is never only one of the two.

Key responsibilities

  • Run growth audits and scaling diagnostics

  • Build GTM strategy for launches, new markets, and rebuilds

  • Define ICP, segmentation, and messaging architecture

  • Design channel selection and launch sequencing

  • Set the performance framework and success metrics

  • Translate findings into work the client can act on

Required experience

  • Demonstrated experience owning growth for a real business

  • Fluency with attribution, CRM, and analytics data

  • Ability to move between strategy and execution

  • Comfort presenting uncomfortable findings to founders

  • Clear, structured writing

Working environment

This role is remote. Work is structured around focus and collaboration, with time allocated for review, discussion, and reflection. The pace is steady rather than reactive, allowing space for ideas to mature before resolution.

Compensation and approach

Compensation is aligned with experience and responsibility. The studio prioritises long-term sustainability, clarity of expectations, and working conditions that support thoughtful practice.

Closing note

This role suits people who value process as much as outcome. If your approach is grounded in patience, attention, and collaboration, there is space here to work with intent and care.
